Standard x-ray tube as a source of radiation produces two narrow
spectral lines against a background of the broadband noise. One of the lines
can be founded if we use standard monochromator. But it is possible to form
the beam of radiation consisted of some “clear” lines from several tubes with
anodes of different material (substance) only by means translucent monochromator
(For more details see the reference). Here these
monochromators play a part not a spliter but integrator
(totalizator).
